The Spann Report (Episode 93) “Grasping At Straws”

On Episode 93 of #TSRP we talk about calling the customer service line to pay bills, and getting the porno surprise. Facebook and the Timehop app are pretty cool, and can remind you of how far you’ve come. Take a trip down memory lane as Spann relives his days as “The Shut Off Man.” Spike Lee has released the trailer for his controversial new movie “Chi-Raq” did he do the city justice? Folks in Charlotte, and Ft. Wayne use guns to defend themselves, and we get another double dose of AssHat of The Week! And later in the show, Spann will address why so many videos of students behaving badly have recently started surfacing. And we got listener feedback this week to get to. All this week on Episode 93 of #TSRP

  1. Rebecca says:

Mr. Spann, I think it’s become clear that you aren’t all that much removed from those open carry advocates you denigrate on your show. You still advocate for people to have access to heavy artillery. And you seem to believe that having guns will solve problems. You sir are no different than them. How could you be so sensible about issues concerning women, and although over the top, right about calling white people into account for their inability to acknowledge their privilege in this country, and yet have such a huge blind spot about guns? Have you not heard about 9 year old Tyshawn Lee out of Chicago who was gunned down? Does his life mean nothing if it gets in the way of you being able to keep heavy artillery in your house? What would you say to his parents if they were to ask you to put the guns down? Would you spit in their faces? Would you say it’s not your problem? THIS DIDN’T HAVE TO HAPPEN AND THIS IS ALL OF OUR PROBLEM! And unless you put the guns down, you will continue to be a part of the problem. No matter how much you think you aren’t.
