Then it’s off to Blue Blazes as word gets out of the prison walls that Bill Cosby was slapped in the face with a chicken patty for telling a joke… Or was he??? A donut shop in Detroit, with a VERY familiar name, is caught up in an illegal marijuana distribution operation. And did Lil Boosie REALLY give his daughter a brand new car only to tell his daughter’s mother that she’s have to pay the note on it? Say it ain’t so Boosie! And then it’s Proud To Be An American time, as an Allen Park Michigan woman tried to knock a guy’s head off for openly admitting he was a Trump supporter. On episode 223 of #TSRP we hop right In The News, as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has announced that employees of this mega store will now be paid $15 per hour after a lot of scrutiny went into the labor practices of the world’s richest man’s biggest asset. Will Walmart follow suit? And as that announcement was happening, fast food workers in Detroit were staging walkouts in their fight for a $15 minimum wage and unionization rights. We’ll discuss how effective this movement has been so far. And Brett Kavanaugh has found himself a cadre of women willing to cut their nose to spite their faces and support his nomination to the supreme court, which will lead us right into Blue Blazes! As a Trump supporter with daughters in tow goes on national TV to say that girls being groped by young boys is not a big deal. J Cole admits to not voting in the 2016 election, Remy Ma gives a silly ass defense of Bill Cosby and Kanye West went on SNL and gave another pro Trump diatribe, and yes that shit was horrible. (Ep. 3) #BWPod “Just All Bad”

Alright family, we’re on to episode 3 of the #BWPod and this week, we’re going to be reviewing two movies that we saw over the weekend. The first movie is the new comedy film Night School, starring Kevin Hart, and Tiffany Haddish. We saw this on a Friday night in a theater that should only be reserved for blockbuster epic films like Avengers: Infinity War, and Star Wars. This movie had no business on an IMAX or IMAX adjacent screen, but alas. We saw it, and we’re going to give our thoughts on it. The second movie we’ll be reviewing, we watched from the comfort of our Living Room. This movie was released on Netflix, and it’s called Til Death Do Us Part. This movie featured the thespian talent of Taye Diggs, Malik Yoba, and Annie Ilonzeh. It was also written, and produced, and directed by Chris Stokes, and boy can you tell. Marques Houston also gets screenwriting credits for this film as well. We’ll just say this, we watched these movies so you don’t have to. But hey, we got shit to say, so listen along as we tell y’all about our trauma watching these two horrendous films right here on The BaeWatch Podcast!

It’s time for episode 21 of #BNCPod the strugglecast of podcasting. On today’s show, Spann want’s to talk a little NBA Basketball, as basketball season has slowly crept back up on us. And already we’re getting hit with some news that players aren’t happy where they are. Most notably this week, Jimmy Butler of the Minnesota Timberwolves. So far Jimmy’s name has been linked with the New York Knicks, The LA Clippers, and the Miami Heat, but where exactly do the guys think he will ultimately end up, and which team would be a better fit for a man of Jimmy’s talents. And the homeboy Walt wants to get into the NFL, more specifically, the NFL’s enforcement of it’s “Roughing The Passer” penalties so far this year. Are they being too heavy handed in it’s enforcement, or is it high time the players start making the adjustments in an effort to make the game safer? And Cliff want’s to talk about Wayde Sims, the 20 year old Junior Forward for LSU’s basketball team was killed in an off campus confrontation. (Episode 222) #TSRP “Pudding Pop On Cell Block 4”

On Episode 222 of #TSRP Spann gets right to it, and hops In The News, as Bill Cosby has now been sentenced to 3-10 years in prison after his conviction in his sexual assault trial. Cosby still has defenders, but at this point, we still are just wondering why. Also the current nominee for a seat on the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh has had three women come forward to say that he too sexually assaulted them in high school and in college, and yet Senate Republicans are still trying to rush through his confirmation. Which actually gives ammo to Cosby defenders. Then it’s off to Blue Blazes, as a Comerica Park food employee is charged with a felony after a viral video of him spitting in food prepared at the stadium emerged. A senior woman in Detroit literally couldn’t take that shit no more, as she rubs dog poop on her neighbors front door because they refuse to clean up after their dogs when they defecate in her yard. And a Preschool worker in Ohio is in hot water after it’s found out that she’s been running a toddler fight club! And in Proud To Be An American news, a Michigan State Representative introduces legislation to make it a felony for white people who call 911 on black people needlessly. And a US District Court has ruled that a ban on dreadlocks during the hiring process is legal. And of course, we’ve got our AssHat & Champ of The Week announcements as well. So lets get right to it, this week, right now on The Spann Report!

(Episode 221) #TSRP “Sprinkle Some Crack On Em”

On episode 221 of #TSRP Spann reflects on the week that was, that saw his wife finally jump on the mic and start a new show on the network, and the celebration of her birthday. We then hop right into the show and get In The News, as a Texas school board has voted to drop people like Hillary Clinton, and Helen Keller from the History curriculum in their district. Ariana Grande has spoken out in response to the reactions of people appalled by the “incidental touching” by Bishop Charles Ellis while performing at Aretha Franklin’s Funeral. And an 18 year old man dies in a series of gas explosions in Massachusetts, that may have been caused by construction work on new gas lines being installed in the area. Then it’s on to Blue Blazes, as an Arizona man faked having Down’s Syndrome and hired caregivers to change his diapers and bathe him. A Weather Channel reporter gets caught overstating the force of the winds of Hurricane Florence on live TV. Former NBA Player Jason Maxiell, and his wife, former cast member of Basketball Wives turned up on an episode of Iyanla: Fix My Life and Jason may need to call an attorney after this one. And Katt Williams goes in on Tiffany Haddish and downplays the rise in her career. He also gets into a roasting session with the radio host that resulted in her husband rolling up on him with a gun. (That escalated quickly) Then we’re off to Proud To Be An American, where the Governor of the state of Maine has declared black people an enemy of the damn state! A white man pulls a gun on 3 black men to try and prevent them from entering an apartment building for Florida A&M students. And authorities investigating the death of Bothem Jean at the hands of Dallas Police Officer Amber Guyger have gone to the old trusty, “Sprinkle Some Crack On Em” defense for Guyger, alleging that marijuana was found in his home the night of the shooting.
