On Episode 101 of #TSRP Mr. Spann is joined by friend of the show, and Comedienne Correy Boyd-Bell as we talk about how she got into comedy. Some to the things she’s learned about the grind that is being a comedian, and what she has planned for the future. Also, we’ll discuss Jada Pinkett’s call to boycott the Oscars, (Or did she?) and Janet Hubert’s super petty response. Cher helps with the Flint Water Crisis, while Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson questions the seriousness of the situation. And following the celebration of MLK Day, amidst a rising chorus of entertainers calling for a boycott of the Oscars, Stacey Dash opines that we should get rid of the BET Awards, the BET channel itself, even Black History month. We’ve got listener feedback and more, this week on The Spann Report!
