On episode 212 of #TSRP Spann celebrated Father’s Day and a birthday all in one weekend, and we’ll talk about whether or not the social media frenzy around who gets to celebrate Father’s Day and how has finally died down, or has Spann just chosen not to dwell on it anymore. (Could be a little bit of both.) And since it was a Spann birthday, we’ll reminisce on the year that was. A little bit anyway. We get off of that and head right into The News, as rapper XXXTentacion has been killed at the age of 20. We’ll talk about performative empathy, and the nuances of if it’s ever OK to speak ill of the dead, despite the kind of person they exhibited themselves to be while they were alive. Detroit Pistons player Reggie Bullock will be the first active NBA player to ride on Pride Parade float in support of the Transgender community as his own sister was a victim violence because she was Transgender. Andrea Kelly, the ex-wife of trashbag of R&B R. Kelly has revealed in a new interview that she too suffered abuse at the hands of the singer. And Donald Chump has ordered the Department of Defense, and the Pentagon to create another branch of the armed forces, and that branch is…. “THE SPACE FORCE” No seriously, this idiot wants a space force. And in Proud To Be An American, a waitress, and Air Force recruit not only lost her job, but lost her shot at the Air Force, after a video of her looking to “HUNT NIGGERS” went viral. And another black man has proclaimed he is “Off The Plantation Bro!” as he bashes BLM, the LGBTQIA community, and progressives in general while speaking at at Turning Point USA event in front of Candace Owens. We’ll break down the silliness that is this notion that progressivism is somehow inherently bad to the black community. Then it’s on to Blue Blazes, as Jerry Springer has FINALLY been canceled after nearly 30 years on the air. And a cheating husband got caught doing the do in the most bizarre way possible. And before we leave out for the night, we’ll be charitable on this Juneteenth 2018 and not have an AssHat of the Week, but we WILL be highlighting a Champ.
