On episode 246 of #TSRP Mr. Spann is back to talk about why the hell was he gone! Nah for real, we’re going to delve into why Spann was banned from Facebook for three days, and how that, along with the death of Nipsey Hussle brought a few things to Spann’s attention that he might be slipping back into old habits. We then hop In The News as the long awaited Mueller Report has finally been released, and it’s revealed some things to us that don’t really surprise those who’ve been paying attention, but it leaves us with this question. What is supposed to happen next? Also in the news, Chicago gets it’s first black woman Mayor with the election of Lori Lightfoot. And the one question Spann has surrounding this election is, what does this mean for the South and West Sides of Chicago?
We then move on to Blue Blazes, as a man from Grand Rapids, MI is suing his parents over their getting rid of his porn collection! In another story of ridiculousness, two men from Rogers, AK thought it would be a good idea to shoot each other while wearing a bulletproof vest. They were both arrested. And the richest man in the world is STILL the richest man in the world, however his now ex-wife is the third richest woman in the world after the Jeff & Mackenzie Bezos divorce was made final.
Then it’s on to Proud To Be An American, as a Republican lawmaker by the name of Tony Tinderholt re-introduces legislation that would call for the death penalty for any woman who has an abortion procedure performed. We find out through polling from The Pew Research Center, Gallup, and Quinnipiac University, that most Americans tend to agree with Democrats on political issues. But how then is that not represented in our current government? And a 21 year old woman in Wyandotte, MI was arrested after injuring 3 police officers while they tried to take her into custody. Just saying, we know her name was Keisha.
And then we close out the show with our Asshat & Champ of The Week announcements. So get ready for a long ride, because we’ve been gone for damn near 3 weeks, and we’ve got a lot to say this week right here on The Spann Report!

Satice James on
Mr. Spann & Mrs. Spann,
I think regarding each of your views on interacting with people on social media, that you both are coming at it from a legit viewpoint.
Like Mr. Spann, I always feel justified if I blow up at someone for starting crap.
On the other hand, I’ve had to implement reaction vs. response; understand that if I reacted opinion would veer one way, but if I responded I did so in my own power.
Eventually, I just stopped doing both.
Blocking was easier.
Negative energy is real, however I think that those who step into the space we say are our boundaries do so because they lack respect on all points that we are people, human.
Regarding Nipsey Hussle – I didn’t know of him however he impacted a lot of people, their lives.
Very sad to know his life ended before he could truly impact not only his community, but the world.
I enjoy the show alot.
