(Ep. 23) #BNCPod “Mayhem In Minnesota”

The #BNCPod boys are back with episode 23, and we’re hopping right back into the drama of the Minnesota Timberwolves as Jimmy Butler reportedly came at the necks of Andrew Wiggins, Karl Anthony-Towns, and Head Coach and GM Tom Thibideau after a trade that would have sent him to the Miami Heat fell through. It’s obvious that Jimmy wants out of Minnesota, but is he overestimating his value? We’ll talk about that and the reactions that are coming from across the league about this situation from the likes of Paul George, and former Timberwolf, Kevin Garnett. And later in the show, the San Francisco 49ers are finding themselves apologizing after neglecting to include Colin Kaepernick in a photo gallery filled with highlights against the Green Bay Packers. Was this apology even needed, or was this really just a way to get in front of the bullshit before people got on them about it. And of course, all three guys got something to Wing It on. So lets get right to it, with Beer, Chicken, and sports talk tonight on The Beer N’ Chicken Podcast!

(Episode 220) “Frogs Are Gay Meets Negro Bed Wench”

On episode 220 of #TSRP Spann has some random thoughts to get off of his mind, right before he gets into some listener feedback, as a few listeners wrote in to let him know they weren’t happy at all with what he said on the last episode. We then hop In The News, as a Dallas Police Officer is under scrutiny after shooting a man in his home. Her story is, she thought she was at her own apartment, but many people aren’t buying it. Former Cosby Show actor, Geoffry Owens, who was recently spotted working at Trader Joe’s says the recent Cosby scandal that saw comedian Bill Cosby convicted of sexual assault, was a driving force in him seeking additional employment. Ford Motor Company throws their hat in the NFL Protest debate, as they publicly come out in support of the players stance of demonstrating against police brutality. We then go to Blue Blazes, where a festival vendor managed to convince people to buy $38 Hot Dog Water, like seriously, $38 for the stuff. One of the people accused of withholding GoFundMe funds to a homeless man has since been arrested, we’ll dive into why. Lou Dobbs went on the air of the Fox Business Channel to call out George W. Bush as a ‘radical liberal.’ Yeah, you read that right the first time. And Twitter after dragging ass, FINALLY banned Alex Jones from their platform, joining the likes of Facebook, YouTube, Apple, and other social media mediums. Which leads us to The Special Hotep Unit, as Captain Tariq Nasheed was recently doing an interview to promote his newest fauxtrumentary, and seems to have much more of a connection to the likes of Alex Jones, than maybe he or his followers are willing to admit. Then it’s off to Proud To Be An American, where an Ohio School Resource officer thought it would be a good idea to awaken a sleeping student, by using a taser on them. In Georgia, a charter school has opted to bring back the practice of paddling their students. And in a break from the norm, a black police organization has decided to step out and support Colin Kaepernick after the National Association of Police Organizations called for boycotts of Nike after the announcement of their 30th anniversary “Just Do It” campaign would feature the embattled former 49ers Quarterback. (Episode 182) “Coming Up Short”

On episode 182 of #TSRP Spann has another dream that prompts him to yet again contemplate having anything to eat before bed. Sweetest Day and who it is for is about to descend down all of your timelines if you have any friends from the Midwest, but why is this “holiday” even a thing? Is there a such thing as good dick by association? One woman seems to think so. The FDA is recommending that the standard condom size be shortened as regular condoms are too big for the average man in the United States? Love and Hip Hop Hollywood “star” Hazel E goes after black women and homosexuals in a weird Instagram rant. And did Toni Braxton really marry Birdman? Donald Trump manages to disrespect the family of a fallen soldier, then says he didn’t do it, as the family says, he did. And later in the show, we update on the Harvey Weinstein scandal, talk about racist cheerleaders from Utah, and Colin Kaepernick denied yet another opportunity to join an NFL team. (Episode 178) “…Things That Matter”

Tonight on episode 178 of #TSRP We’re talking protesting! Yayyy! With everything happening with the NFL this past weekend and Trump being the asshole he is, we’ll dive into what went into these most recent demonstrations, and are there messages being lost in the mix with all the hoopla. Also, Damon Young over at Very Smart Brothas, penned an article this week that proclaimed that “Straight Black Men Are The White People Of Black People.” Is there any level of truth in this message? We’ll examine how it’s possible for one to come to that conclusion. And later in the show, Kevin Hart has been in the news recently for cheating on his wife. But there are details surrounding the story that point to a possible extortion attempt, and even a possible rape. We’ll talk about whether or not it’s possible for a man to be raped by a woman, as we also include the discussion around consent, and if a man is capable of giving it while under the influence. All of that and of course, we’ve got our AssHat and Champ of The Week as well to night, AND MORE tonight on The Spann Report!
