(Ep. 30) #BNCPod “Here We Go Again”

Episode 30 of #BNCPod is here, with your boys back again for another night of sports talk shenanigans. Of course the fellas catch up with what each of them have been up to for the past week, and then we get right into the week’s sports topics. Cliff wants to talk about whether or not this current iteration of the Duke University basketball team is comparable to the old Michigan Fab Five team of the early 1990’s. And with Spann and Walt BOTH being huge University of Michigan fans, this might get loud. Walt wants to talk about the Detroit Pistons, and whether or not it’s safe for Pistons fans to get excited about the play the team has exhibited thus far. Are the Pistons for real, or are they setting up a lot of Pistons fans to get their heart broken. And Spann wants to address another high profile incident of domestic violence involving an NFL player. This time, the player is Kareem Hunt, the featured tailback for the Kansas City Chiefs. He was released by his team this past week. But the question that Spann has is, does the average NFL fan even care what he did? And then of course, the fellas close out the show with their uninterrupted hot takes with our “Wing It” segment. The holiday season is in full swing, so we know you might be strapped for cash, but you should still be able to pull out at least a Pabst Blue Ribbon, and a chicken tinder, and rock with your boys right here at The Beer N’ Chicken Podcast!

(Ep. 25) #BNCPod “Why My Key Card Don’t Work???”

Them #BNCPod boys are back with another episode of sports hot takes and tom foolery with episode 25 of the show! On tonight’s episode, we’ll be talking about the firing of Tyronn Lue, the now former Head Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers. After the departure of LeBron James, the Cavs have opened up this new NBA Season with an 0-6 record. Was the rug pulled on Lue too soon before he could establish an identity for this team beyond LeBron? Staying in the NBA, The Houston Rockets have offered the Minnesota Timberwolves 4 future 1st Round Picks for the chance at adding Jimmy Butler to their team. Jimmy Butler is good, but is he really worth 4 whole 1st round picks? And later in the show we move on to the NFL, As mid season trades have started permeating the league the past few weeks. We’ll discuss some of the most impactful mid-season trades in NFL history. And of course, we’ll be closing the show with some Wing It action. So pull up an ear bud, and a nugget or something and chill out with your boys right here on The Beer N’ Chicken Podcast!

(Ep. 24) #BNCPod “LakeShow Fights”

On episode 24 of #BNCPod Football season is in full swing, as the first third of the season has been played through. And during this strech, Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints became the NFL’s all time leader in passing yards. He’s been a good quarterback in the league for quite some time, with a Super Bowl win under his belt. But with the way the game has changed, and it becoming a more pass happy league, with less emphasis on the work horse tailback, who do the guys think has the most likely chance of being the next NFL Quarterback to have the All Time Passing Yards leader distinction. And basketball season is just getting kicked off as the regular season marathon started this past week. But tempers flared in an early match up with the Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers, as Brandon Ingram, Rajon Rondo, and Chris Paul, all threw punches late in the match up. So we’ll be discussing, what led to the fight, who should receive the harshest punishment, and how we THINK we would have handled that particular situation. And then of course, the fellas will close the show with their hot takes during our Wing It portion of the show. So grab a brew and thigh and kick it with your boys right here on The Beer N’ Chicken Podcast!

(Ep. 23) #BNCPod “Mayhem In Minnesota”

The #BNCPod boys are back with episode 23, and we’re hopping right back into the drama of the Minnesota Timberwolves as Jimmy Butler reportedly came at the necks of Andrew Wiggins, Karl Anthony-Towns, and Head Coach and GM Tom Thibideau after a trade that would have sent him to the Miami Heat fell through. It’s obvious that Jimmy wants out of Minnesota, but is he overestimating his value? We’ll talk about that and the reactions that are coming from across the league about this situation from the likes of Paul George, and former Timberwolf, Kevin Garnett. And later in the show, the San Francisco 49ers are finding themselves apologizing after neglecting to include Colin Kaepernick in a photo gallery filled with highlights against the Green Bay Packers. Was this apology even needed, or was this really just a way to get in front of the bullshit before people got on them about it. And of course, all three guys got something to Wing It on. So lets get right to it, with Beer, Chicken, and sports talk tonight on The Beer N’ Chicken Podcast!

(Ep. 21) #BNCPod “Is There Really A Such Thing As A Jimmy Butler Sweepstakes?”

It’s time for episode 21 of #BNCPod the strugglecast of podcasting. On today’s show, Spann want’s to talk a little NBA Basketball, as basketball season has slowly crept back up on us. And already we’re getting hit with some news that players aren’t happy where they are. Most notably this week, Jimmy Butler of the Minnesota Timberwolves. So far Jimmy’s name has been linked with the New York Knicks, The LA Clippers, and the Miami Heat, but where exactly do the guys think he will ultimately end up, and which team would be a better fit for a man of Jimmy’s talents. And the homeboy Walt wants to get into the NFL, more specifically, the NFL’s enforcement of it’s “Roughing The Passer” penalties so far this year. Are they being too heavy handed in it’s enforcement, or is it high time the players start making the adjustments in an effort to make the game safer? And Cliff want’s to talk about Wayde Sims, the 20 year old Junior Forward for LSU’s basketball team was killed in an off campus confrontation. We’ll cover all of that, find out what the hell happened to these guys last week, and of course, We gots to WING IT tonight. (Ep. 20) #BNCPod “Ain’t No Future In Your Frontin”

On episode 20 of #BNCPod Spann wants to talk a little boxing as Floyd Mayweather announced that he would come out of retirement and do a rematch with Manny Pacquiao? Is this a fight that people are really clamoring to see after the snooze fest the last fight turned out to be? After the Lions got their asses handed to them in Week 1 of this NFL Season, Walt wants to talk about their new coach Matt Patricia, and whether or not he’s already lost this team, as rumblings have come out of their locker room that players aren’t happy with the new rule changes and the amount of practices implemented by the rookie head coach. And later in the show, Cliff wants to chop it up about baseball. The baseball playoffs specifically as their season is starting to wind down and the playoffs are approaching. What teams and matchups are folks going to be excited to see this fall? All of that and of course, the fellas will Wing It tonight.
